1st Generation: Ye Zongsheng (Tenure: 720–749)
Ye Zongsheng, a direct disciple of Ye Fashan, inherited his Taoist Mystical Arts and esoteric teachings.
During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, he was summoned to the imperial court as a Taoist priest and conducted the Spiritual Embrace and Empowerment Ritual for cats and dogs of the royal household.
He resolved the Demonic Cat Incident by working alongside a spiritual canine to subdue the demonic cat and guide it toward proper spiritual cultivation.
2nd Generation: Ye Mingyu (Tenure:749–776)
Ye Mingyu continued the Mystical Arts of the Xuanling Lineage at the imperial court. Skilled in Daoist Talismans and incantations, he gained the trust of Emperor Suzong of Tang.

15th Generation: Ye Shouzhen (Tenure:1060–1085)
Amid war and family decline, Ye Shouzhen passed the lineage to his eldest daughter, Ye Qingyun, breaking the tradition of inheritance limited to the Ye clan.
Ye Qingyun later transmitted the lineage to her son, Zhu Yifeng, marking the gradual introduction of the Mystical Arts into civilian society.

53rd Generation: Ding Gaoyou (Tenure:1948–1971)
Under supportive policy conditions, Ding Gaoyou further strengthened the preservation and transmission of the Taoist Mystical Arts and cultural traditions of the Xuanling Lineage.
56th Generation: Sun Yixun (Tenure:2015–Present)
Sun Yixun has advanced the internationalization and modernization of the Xuanling Lineage, using digital platforms to share its cultural tradition and Taoist Mystical Arts worldwide.
